About our Preschool
OCP began in 1979 as an outreach of the church. Classes are led by teachers with an Education degree, Early Childhood experience and yearly training. Our average student to teacher ratio is 6:1. We strive to have good communication and value our relationships with the families we have had through the years.
Teaching Excellence
OCP provides activities for our children to grow in their social skills and become independent in preparation for future school years. Age appropriate, quality curriculum will prepare children academically for Kindergarten. Bible stories and prayer will help build a foundation of faith.
Activities
Special events include class field trips, holiday parties, Thanksgiving feast, and Christmas programs. PreK students can participate in Discovery Days and will have a celebration at the end of the year.
Classes Offered
OCP offers classes September – May with families choosing from available classes according to the age of their child. Children who are 3 may attend 2 or 3 days per week and PreK children may attend 3, 4 or 5 days per week. Morning classes meet 9:00-11:30 and afternoon classes 12:30-3:00. For children who have turned 2 ½, Tot Time classes meet 1 or 2 days per week, 9:15-11:15.
Longer Days Offered
Morning classes may sign-up for the Extended Day program which meets 11:30-3:00 (bring a packed lunch and an extra snack) or for Lunch Bunch 11:30-12:30 (bring a packed lunch). Afternoon classes may sign-up for Lunch Bunch, arriving at 11:30 and then to class at 12:30.
Open Enrollment will begin in early February for the next school year!
